我爱艺术创作之梦幻的快乐旅程

在艺术学院时期参加了学校和Nokia联办的亚太区Asia Pacific画画比赛，这也是我们绘画班的功课之一。

当时同学们都把作品画在standard的标准画纸上而我则选择环保，废物循环利把作品画在被丢弃的米袋上。我剪开米袋一打开就一股劲开心热情的去画好像是个孩子在玩耍般没去想尺寸的问题也没把它当作功课或比赛来看待。

为什么外星人就一定是可怕的呢？

还记得学生时代省钱不搭的士只搭地铁。一星期后我兴奋的带着作品要去学校，但带着这巨大作品搭地铁是个问题还好当时执勤的地铁叔叔了解后，认得我后，每次都好心让我过关但嘱咐我需要站在地铁的最角落旁不能影响到其它乘客。

作品完成后很开心，很满足

还记得一进教室的那堂课，才知道只有我已完成了90%的画作而同学们大都只画了10%-30%， 有的甚至还停留在画草稿的阶段。结果就因为我选择了“不规则的画纸”，“不规则的尺寸”，“不规则的进度" 而惹来同学闲语和批评说我"Kiasu"(怕输), 有者还告诉我我犯了大错这次死定了， 因为我们那原籍从印度来的印度老师是出了名的严格难搞。

当印籍老师进班后巡视一轮，只拿起我的作品告诉全班同学："这就是国际参赛水准和尺寸"。全班顿时哑口无声。。。
全班都知道班长是最喜欢拿我当较劲的对象，后来她马上静悄悄的换了画纸而且硬硬加边框让作品看起来更大副，演变成当时的她才是班上的笑话。

后来我的作品是全校唯一入选了亚太区50强的最佳作品之一。还得到了奖状，奖品和公开巡展的机会。

用心热衷的去做一件让自己快乐的事，享受过程，结果不是最重要的

当时我是那么想的 My Rationale：
MY playground of imagination begins in space because it does not only restrict to Earth. The thoughts of having aliens to accompany me on a ride is exciting. The whole Universe is in your hand, without restriction, free as a bird. The playground come upon as a bus traveling through space, with aliens so friendly and lifelike. I like use the drawing to express a childlike in everyone of us, an imaginative world that brings happiness. The colours are bright, somehow expressing the carefree and wildness of the ride. I use the guni cloth as a instead of paper, as it bought back memories as a child. Gadgets like these are hardly found now days. Thought it is old, they are irreplaceable. With advance technology, computer games has replace imaginative mind of an child, this panting in sorely bring the audience back to their childhood days.
